The custody service represents a key benefit to investors wishing to better manage their investment portfolios in terms of cost issues and service convenience matters. The custody division mainly serves the clients of the Capital Markets business line for Arqaam Capital, which was launched earlier in January 2008.
Fadi Chamas, Custody and Operations Director at Arqaam Capital said: "We are very delighted to have started offering our custody services to the local and regional markets. We are aiming to bridge the gap between the needs of the investment community across the GCC and the international custody standards by creating a reliable platform that combines a tailored approach with local and international market knowledge. We offer institutions and eligible individual investors access to over 90 markets worldwide, all through a single portal in a cost effective manner. Our commitment to a high level of reporting and functionality whilst ensuring that both assets and cash are securely handled and segregated is one of the service standards we abide by and guarantee our clients."
