GoldenSource Corporation, a global software provider of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions for financial and securities institutions worldwide, has today announced a series of connections to suppliers of high risk/high value data in areas such as derivatives, risk, pricing, corporate actions and counterparty data.
These products, in production at a number of client sites following successful beta programs, are complementary to the growing list of preconfigured connections already offered by GoldenSource such as Bloomberg, IDC, Reuters and Telekurs.
The current turmoil in the financial markets has highlighted the need for organizations to revisit operational and counterparty risk and understand how to capture a complete view of all data that may have a bearing on their overall risk or exposure. To address this GoldenSource has added the following connections:
- Markit RED, the market standard that confirms the legal relationship between reference entities that trade in the credit default swap market and their associated reference obligations, known as "pairs";
- RIMES Fixed Income Benchmarks' data platform for access to premium third-party sources via a single data feed for fixed income performance attribution and risk models;
- Bloomberg Extended BackOffice for further extensions to Bloomberg's predefined BackOffice attribute sets, with additional security master, pricing and bulk schedule information;
- Interactive Data FTS and IDC ISO 15022, Interactive Data's portfolio management system for comprehensive descriptive, pricing and corporate actions data across asset types.
