Interactive Data adds Financial Express information to funds data

Interactive Data Corporation (NYSE: IDC), a leading provider of financial market data, analytics, and related services, today announced that its Managed Solutions group has further enhanced its funds data offering with information supplied by Financial Express, a leading UK-based data supplier.

The offering, which comprises data for more than 15,000 funds licensed in the UK and covers all funds classes, is available via Interactive Data Managed Solutions' Funds Suite product. Fact sheets and analytics are included.

"Thanks to the new relationship with Interactive Data Managed Solutions, we have gained a higher presence in Continental Europe," said Michael Holland, managing director at Financial Express.

The funds data includes prices, dividends, histories and corporate actions. Also available are fact sheet data such as holdings and sector or region weightings, as well as ratings for evaluations that are based on alpha, volatility and continuity of performances. In addition, comprehensive research and analysis data are included.

Users can access this information via the Market Data Gateway, Interactive Data's open market data platform. The data is available for all PrimePortal clients and is accessible via PrimeDeveloper. The Financial Express funds data is also expected to be made available via the PrimeTerminal Professional Edition financial terminal in the coming months.
