Bank of the Ozarks renews Metavante core banking deal

Metavante (NYSE: MV), a leading provider of banking and payments technology, today announced that Bank of the Ozarks (Nasdaq: OZRK) has renewed its core banking agreement and expanded its relationship with Metavante.

Based in Little Rock, Ark., Bank of the Ozarks is one of the top commercial banking institutions in the state of Arkansas.

A client since 1982, Bank of the Ozarks' renewal marks the expansion of a long-standing relationship using Bankway's in-house core banking solution deployed in 70 locations throughout Arkansas, Texas and North Carolina. The bank also uses Metavante's Branch Capture and Document Image products and is deepening its involvement with Metavante through a recent Merchant Capture agreement, with plans to expand its use of Bankway software and Branch Capture products in the future.

Bankway software is available as an in-house solution running on multiple hardware platforms, or in a hosted environment.
