Source: Wirecard

According to preliminary calculations, Wirecard AG generated 37.4 million euros in sales revenues in the third quarter of fiscal 2007.

This corresponds to an increase of 74.8 percent over the same quarter a year earlier (21.4 million euros). Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were up by 89.8 percent over the previous-year quarter (4.9 million euros), to reach 9.3 million euros.

The EBIT margin improved from 22.9 percent to 24.9 percent, particularly due to supplementary services provided by Wirecard Bank AG, with an immediate positive impact on the value-added depth of this provider of comprehensive electronic payment processing services.

The preliminary 9-month figures amount to 93.9 million euros in sales and 22.6 million euros in EBIT. Compared with the 9-month figures of the previous year, sales revenues were up by 62.4 percent (9M: 57.8 million euros). Constant growth in core operations and additional products and services of the Wirecard Bank are decisive factors that boosted EBIT by 72.5 percent compared with the first nine months of the previous year (9M: 13.1 million euros).

All results are preliminary. The full quarterly and nine-month report will be published on November 20, 2007.
