eSignal, a division of Interactive Data Corporation (NYSE: IDC) and a leading provider of streaming, real-time financial market data, news, analytics and decision support tools to professional and individual traders, today announced the immediate availability of QuoTrek 1.1, with user interface improvements, including free world indices and added compatibility with smart phones and the BlackBerry Web Client service from Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX:RIM).

QuoTrek provides streaming quotes, charting and analytics to wireless devices such as BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds. This new version of QuoTrek expands its compatibility to support service for the BlackBerry platform including BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry Web Client services.

QuoTrek offers investors the same streaming quotes as eSignal's award-winning services and application. With QuoTrek, investors receive global information from financial markets throughout North America, Europe and Asia. QuoTrek features streaming charts with wireless access to data that can be displayed in line, bar or candlestick charts. Other improvements include visually highlighting symbols in the quote window to indicate trading activity and offering free world indices.
