On 24 September 2007, the respective boards of directors of Cardinal Consulting and OnFin, the leading Swift Service Partners and providers of Business and Technical solutions to Swift customers in Switzerland and in France, announced their intention to merge.

Creation of a global SWIFT Service Partner in Europe

With a combined number of 120 customers, Cardinal Consulting and OnFin will be one of the leading global SWIFT Service Partner in Europe and will create an unparalleled community of SWIFT practice enabling collaboration and innovation across Europe.

The merger marks a major milestone in the build-out of a European network of business and technical experts fully dedicated to serving SWIFT existing and prospective users as they prepare to embark on the next SWIFT great leap step forward.

Currently more than 120 financial institutions and corporate customers secure their SWIFT operations using innovative business and technical solutions from the two organisations. Bringing Cardinal Consulting and OnFin together provides a powerful platform for the necessary innovation and support that SWIFT users will be expecting over the next five years.

Building on its complementary strengths and synergies, the merger of Cardinal Consulting and OnFin unites two innovators servicing SWIFT customers, both with complementary heritages in their field of expertise.
