Citi Markets & Banking today announced it has completed the previously announced acquisition of Automated Trading Desk (ATD), following the receipt of all required regulatory approvals.
The purchase of ATD, a leader in electronic market making, makes Citi a top-tier aggregator of equity order flow and provides institutional, broker/dealer and retail clients with deeper pools of liquidity.
ATD becomes part of Citi's Global Equities business.
