Postilion, a leader in software solutions for self-service banking and payments and a division of S1 Corporation (Nasdaq: SONE), today announced a partnership with VAS Consultoria Empresarial (VAS) to jointly market Postilion's integrated banking and payments solutions in Brazil.

"The Brazilian economy is strong and businesses there use payment technologies innovatively. Postilion's self-service banking and payment solutions are well positioned to enable a local partner to penetrate this market with best-of-breed offerings," said Pierre Naude, General Manager of Postilion Americas. "The executives from VAS have a deep understanding of the Brazilian payments market and how to adapt Postilion solutions to serve the needs of businesses and consumers. Together, we look forward to serving this dynamic market."

Vlademir Santos, Director, VAS, said, "It is expected that by the end of 2008 every retail bank in Brazil will perform transactions enabled by mobile devices. Brazil is Latin America's largest telecommunications market and we believe that the nearly one hundred million mobile devices in use in Brazil can become real-time payment channels. With Postilion solutions, we are in a unique position to help banks and retailers save service costs through electronic means, while simultaneously increasing the capacity of customer payment channels throughout Brazil."

Postilion's partnership with VAS further extends the company's global reach. VAS joins a global network of more than 20 Postilion resellers.
