LUKAS Bank selected Postilion to support the growth plans of its cards business and to allow it to bring selected outsourced operations in-house.

LUKAS Bank, part of the Credit Agricole group and one of the largest issuers of credit cards in Poland with over 1.3 million cards in circulation, provides co-branded and 'store cards' for a range of retailers. By utilizing the Postilion open-systems platform, LUKAS Bank plans to offer a wider range of products and services to its business partners and customers while reducing its operational costs.

Piotr Buszka, Vice President of LUKAS Bank, said, "Bringing operations onto Postilion's open-systems platform delivers greater levels of flexibility, reduces our costs and improves the service we can provide to our partners and cardholders. Outsourcing our card and payment processing was an effective solution for our business but not sufficient given our business plans and long-term growth. With Postilion, we will have greater control over our own card products and services and can easily add new functionality to support innovative business requirements."

Postilion's EVP for Business Development, Central & Eastern Europe, Andrew Marshman, said, "The relationship with LUKAS Bank demonstrates how Postilion can provide a very simple and cost-effective way for organizations to manage complex cardholder services. LUKAS Bank has ambitious plans to grow its customer base and broaden the range of services it offers and we are extremely pleased that they will rely on Postilion to help meet their objectives."
