Recently, there have been many published reports of online account intrusions, spyware attacks, and occurrences of identity theft, among the many types of online threats faced by consumers. These threats have become more and more sophisticated and are driven by financial incentives. Through the agreement with Trend Micro, Firstrade customers will be able to receive the software and ongoing updates at no charge for one year. The software will be available to all Firstrade customers, regardless of the size of their accounts or the number of trades made. Customers will just need to log into their Firstrade accounts and visit Firstrade's Security Center to download the free Trend Micro software.
