ESignal, the desktop solutions division of Interactive Data Corporation (NYSE: IDC) and a leading provider of streaming, real-time financial market data, news, analytics and decision-support tools for professional and individual traders, today announced the launch of QuoteTrader, a free broker-neutral, multi-asset-class trade management and charting platform.

QuoteTrader provides simultaneous access to multiple brokerage accounts of a user and is powered by users' existing brokerage data-feeds. QuoteTrader is also compatible with eSignal's own data-feed. QuoteTrader also provides technical analysis and links to Quote.com, one of the leading financial portals with extensive global financial asset coverage, news and fundamental research.

For the first time, traders can use the same platform to simultaneously access and trade in real-time across asset classes and accounts with more than ten leading brokers - from one free application.

QuoteTrader offers instant access to a set of decision-support tools, including its advanced 3-D Depth of Market, real-time charts, streaming quotes support and portfolio management windows. The Depth of Market feature is fundamental to QuoteTrader's unique value, displaying size at price, both graphically and numerically, while allowing users to gauge liquidity faster than traditional displays. Free real-time charts support over 30 technical studies, indicators and drawing tools. Single-click order entry is enhanced with a robust order ticket and pre-set order defaults, providing powerful order-management support and allowing users to manage multiple trades simultaneously.

Integration of QuoteTrader with Quote.com gives traders and brokers a free source for powerful pre-, intra- and post-trade decision-support from a leading financial portal. The extensive resources of this premier global financial Web portal include global asset coverage, access to technical analysis, fundamental research, education, social networking community boards and free mobile quotes and news.

"We are very enthusiastic about offering QuoteTrader to active online traders and brokers," said Chuck Thompson, president of eSignal. "This is an unprecedented move in our industry - offering a powerful real-time, decision-support and trading tool that works across the brokerage feeds that traders already have, and even supports multiple brokerages running with multiple feeds - all for free. QuoteTrader is one of the many innovative new tools we are providing that underscore the value of our Quote.com portal."

QuoteTrader connects to major brokers such as Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. (IBKR), MB Trading, GAIN Capital, FXCM, optionsXpress, Inc. (OXPS), Oanda and TransAct. eSignal plans to continue to connect QuoteTrader to additional brokerages in the near future.

QuoteTrader Features:

  • No additional exchange fees - it uses your existing brokers' data-feeds
  • Quick, easy, simultaneous access to multiple brokers and multiple asset classes
  • Direct connection to selected content on leading global financial portal, Quote.com

  • Free charts supporting 30 technical studies
