Tamar, the search conversion agency, has built and optimised a website for Lloyds TSB to provide information for people who have been affected by or are at risk from the floods that have been occurring in the UK.

The site, helpimflooded.co.uk was completed in just 72 hours and is designed to help and support both Lloyds TSB and non-Lloyds TSB customers.

Consisting of 17 pages and promoted through natural search engine optimisation, the website offers content to help both personal and business users, providing advice, prevention tips and useful contact numbers and website links relating to people with homes, cars and small to medium businesses that are at risk from or affected by flooding.

Neil McCarthy, Director, Tamar commented, "It is great to see a large organisation like Lloyds TSB doing something to help people affected by flooding, and we are delighted to be a part of this project, completing the website build in record time. With natural search and links from other Lloyds TSB websites driving traffic to helpimflooded.co.uk we expect the site to prove a huge success."

Simon Roberts, eBusiness Implementation Manager, Lloyds TSB Insurance said, "During this difficult time, we wanted to try and help the general public as quickly as possible. Drawing upon our existing relationship with Tamar, we knew they could respond to our request and deliver something that would be extremely helpful to not only our own Lloyds TSB customers, but to anyone affected by flooding across the UK. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and have had some great feedback from our customers. We will be continually updating the website to provide as much information as possible over the coming weeks."
