Arapahoe Credit Union has chosen Harland Financial Solutions' UltraData Enterprise as its new core processing system, joining the more than 260 credit unions utilizing the solution in an outsourced environment.

The credit union will convert to UltraData Enterprise from its current in-house platform on December 1, 2007 and be served from Harland Financial Solutions' Des Moines, Iowa Enterprise Services Center.

Claudia Milan, CEO at Arapahoe Credit Union, has worked with the UltraData system numerous times throughout her career. "My experience with UltraData Enterprise, and that of some of my current employees, has been one of reliability and extensibility. Arapahoe requires a solution that will expand as we achieve our growth objectives and has a proven track record in providing credit unions with a secure service bureau environment. We found both with Harland Financial Solutions and UltraData Enterprise."

Located in Centennial, Colorado, Arapahoe Credit Union signed a seven-year agreement with Harland Financial Solutions. The institution is a current Cavion Internet Banking client and utilizes Harland-Clarke checks. In addition to UltraData Enterprise and its functional applications, the credit union also purchased the Touche Sales & Service member relationship management solution.

David McConney, executive vice president and general manager of Harland Financial Solutions' Credit Union Core Systems group, understands how important a flexible core system is in helping facilitate a client's success. "Offering UltraData Enterprise both in-house and in a service bureau provides the flexibility for our clients to be able to switch from one model to the other as their needs change. Providing the same solution, regardless of the delivery method, ensures our clients need not face a future conversion."

Arapahoe opened its doors in 1937 and now has $72 million in assets serving over 13,000 members, including students, employees and retirees of Arapahoe County public schools.
