Visa USA, Visa International and Arcaneo today announced a strategic alliance aimed at helping companies integrate commercial payment cards with enterprise meetings management technologies.

Both organizations are working together to create solutions that provide businesses with the information they need to accurately manage meeting expenses and assess their return on investment.

"Visa's relationship with Arcaneo brings together two industry leaders to deliver new levels of efficiency through innovative and cost-effective solutions for our shared corporate customers worldwide," said Darren Parslow, senior vice president, Visa USA. "By integrating hotel folio and other spending data reported globally via Visa Commercial Format standards with Arcaneo's meetings management software, our corporate clients can achieve new levels of spending visibility and control, while providing for more strategic management of this key corporate expense category."

"Our new relationship with Visa enables our shared customer base to capitalize on yet another key opportunity in strategic meetings management," said Dale Beckles, President and CEO of Arcaneo. "Using card payment products to pay for meeting expenses allows companies to significantly improve their spend management processes, and ultimately gain greater compliance and drive increased cost savings to their bottom line."

The use of Visa commercial payment cards in combination with enterprise meeting planning technologies can help companies centralize internal processes for purchasing, data tracking and reporting on meeting expenses. This integration enables companies to increase visibility into meeting, travel, entertainment, and other associated expenses to help ensure better compliance with corporate policies and preferred supplier usage. Through Visa's commercial card program best practices, companies can optimize the management of their meeting-related expenses resulting in greater program efficiency and measurable cost savings.
