Nasa Federal CU chooses Quality Associates for document management
Quality Associates, an established provider of services and solutions for document management, imaging and archiving, announced it has secured a new contract with NASA Federal Credit Union, the not-for-profit financial cooperative based in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

With this ongoing initiative, Quality Associates will convert receipts, deposit slips, and other paperwork relating to daily banking transactions into an electronic document management system (EDMS), where digital images can be searched, retrieved and archived by authorized NASA Federal Credit Union staff.
Chartered in 1949, NASA Federal Credit Union serves the diverse needs of 68,000 members worldwide from a variety of professional organizations with a full array of financial services and the strength of more than $800 million in assets. The credit union has nine locations throughout Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
Quality Associates will be performing the work at its new headquarters location in Columbia, Maryland's new Maple Lawn business development.

Rather than relying on printed paper archives or outdated storage technologies, businesses can leverage the most recent advancements in imaging and archiving and make searchable, retrievable documents available to any number of appropriate staff members as needed. In addition, having this information in digital format often fits within a corporation's continuity plans for record retention."
