BIMCOR deployed the Eagle solution as part of an initiative to improve data quality, generate daily performance and attribution, and retire legacy applications.
The Eagle solution consolidates BIMCOR's investment data into a single data hub, helping BIMCOR to ensure they have accurate and consistent data to support their investment process and feed downstream systems. BIMCOR leverages the Eagle Portal, a Web-based information delivery tool, to distribute investment and performance reports to its users.
"Our goals were to improve our reporting and data distribution capabilities, to generate daily performance for all asset classes and to calculate daily attribution across all of our equity asset classes. The Eagle solution allowed us to use one central repository for all our data and to retire systems with disparate databases," said Brian Kouri, vice president, finance and administration of BIMCOR. "The partnership approach of the Eagle professional services team helped us to successfully deploy the Eagle solution in a timely manner, which enabled us to generate our 2006 year-end performance results with the Eagle platform."
"We are pleased to have worked with BIMCOR and to have brought them live. By adopting Eagle's data-centric approach, BIMCOR has improved their data quality and availability," said John Lehner, Eagle president. "We continue to see tremendous growth in the Canadian market and BIMCOR joins Eagle's growing list of Canadian clients such as Alberta Revenue, Natcan, Ontario Public Service Employees Union and TD Securities."
