CardWizard instant issuance software by Dynamic Card Solutions can now leverage StepNexus EMV Data Preparation Services to instantly issue MULTOS chip cards. StepNexus Data Preparation Services eliminates the need for data preparation infrastructure investments. Instead of large up front deployment costs, small setup and annual maintenance fees are assessed along with a click charge per application personalized on each chip.

The MULTOS-based instant issuance solution offers flexibility and simplicity as major advantages. "Our bureau services offer banks specialized EMV knowledge to get running quickly and efficiently. We also gladly support clients who wish to deploy an in-house solution after using our services to get a head-start," said Ian Maddocks, VP of Service Development for StepNexus. The solution utilizes StepNexus' Secure Trusted Environment Provisioning (STEP) technology to protect digital information without requiring numerous HSMs at bank branches, and supports both Visa and MasterCard applications.

Spencer Clark, Director of International Markets for Dynamic Card Solutions, added "We can support virtually any infrastructure change an issuer would like to make. An investment in CardWizard means maximum flexibility. Issuers can change data preparation systems, card management systems, and even core banking applications, while continuing to use CardWizard to instantly issue cards."

Noted Tim France-Massey, VP Marketing for MULTOS, "MULTOS and STEP/one cards are ideal for instant issuance regardless of the chip type used for a bank's centrally issued cards. They are functionally identical and cardholders will never know the difference". He added, "The Step/one card is now cost-competitive with native chip cards, making this solution especially affordable."

The solution is currently available worldwide and is expected to be SAMA/SPAN2 compliant.
