Deluxe Financial Services and Commerce Bank, a regional bank holding company with approximately 360 locations in Missouri, Illinois, Kansas and Oklahoma, today announced they have entered into a new partnership to better serve customers.

The new agreement supports Commerce Bank's vision to continually enhance customer service and strengthen customer relationships.

As the relationship enters a new chapter, Deluxe will provide solutions that complement Commerce Bank's customer-focused approach to banking, as well as its growing consumer product offering. For example, Commerce Bank customers may tap into a more advanced fraud recovery assistance and protection system through Deluxe ID TheftBlock 2.0. This comprehensive product, which offers two levels of service - a fraud recovery solution and a fraud recovery plus detection solution - reflects Commerce Bank's ongoing commitment to providing a broad selection of best-in-class products, services and programs.

"According to the Federal Trade Commission, identity theft strikes seven to 10 million new victims each year. As these statistics continue to rise, helping our customers protect their personal information and credit history is a priority for Commerce Bank," said Charles Kim, Executive Vice President, Commerce Bank. "We're always looking for ways to better serve our customers and Deluxe's turnkey products and services, like Deluxe ID TheftBlock 2.0, make it easier to achieve this goal."

In addition, Commerce Bank will further their efforts to strengthen customer relationships with DeluxeCalling, an outbound calling service designed to reach new indirect loan customers. Knowledgeable Deluxe associates initiate contact with those new customers before their first payment is due, making it easier for Commerce Bank to engage more deeply with loan consumers and identify additional opportunities to meet their needs.

"Deluxe offers a comprehensive suite of products and services designed to help financial institutions achieve their most crucial business objectives, including increased security, enhanced customer loyalty and a stronger brand," said Luann Widener, president, Deluxe Financial Services. "Deluxe ID TheftBlock 2.0 and DeluxeCalling are just two examples of our commitment to providing partners like Commerce Bank with the tools they need to find - and maintain - a competitive edge."
