Dutch online broker Alex signs up to Dow Jones Nieuwsdienst

Alex, the leading online broker in the Netherlands, has signed an agreement with Dow Jones Newswires to provide users with access to business news from Dow Jones Nieuwsdienst, Dow Jones Newswires' Dutch-language service. Under the terms of the agreement, Dow Jones Nieuwsdienst will be the only news service available to Alex.nl customers.

Alex is the largest online broker for private investors in the Netherlands with about 70,000 users, who now have access to the local and global financial markets news coverage offered by Dow Jones Nieuwsdienst.

The Dutch-language service combines in-depth coverage of the Dutch financial markets with foreign company news, economic indicators and exclusive news reports from Dow Jones Newswires. The service also includes Dutch-focused stories from The Wall Street Journal Europe, Dow Jones Newswires' European Morning Briefing and Market Talk, which offers a running commentary on the factors behind market movements.
