International IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions provider Axios Systems today announced that Capita Life & Pensions, a division of the Capita Group plc, the UK's leading business process outsourcing (BPO) and professional services company, has deployed assyst, the leading ITSM solution.
Capita Life & Pensions provides outsourcing solutions for life and pensions operations for a number of financial services organisations, including Zurich Financial Services, Lincoln Financial Group, Prudential and The Children's Mutual. Capita Life & Pensions use assyst as a service management tool to cover various ITIL disciplines. The deployment of ITIL best practice, aided by the deployment of ITIL-based software from Axios Systems, has improved the management of IT resources for Capita Life & Pensions.
Capita selected assyst to enhance their ITSM through the integration of service desk and incident management, problem management, change management, asset and configuration management and service level management processes in a single solution. Capita Life & Pensions will benefit from having a single system to manage multiple clients, whilst providing specific IT services to each client. This will be further expanded as Capita Life & Pensions wins additional customers with variable service requirements.
Matt McCahill, head of IT service management, Capita Life & Pensions, said: "We had a strenuous evaluation criteria of ITSM solutions and we chose Axios Systems because of its existing managed service provider credentials who operate assyst at large-volumes for multiple end-customers from a single system. This coupled with Axios' flexibility, emphasis on best practice and the fact that all Axios consultants are ITIL service manager qualified, reinforced our decision".
Markos Symeonides, VP business development, Axios Systems said: "Managed service providers, including Capita Life & Pensions, are using assyst as a key tool in helping deliver great customer service. Axios has the track-record in providing best practice in the managed services market, proving a lower-risk option with a faster return on investment".
