Wealth Management Software (WMS) Fairs is delighted to announce the launch of a new fund integration module. Working closely with Selestia, the project has been developed to enable IFA's to automatically update the unit positions of all Selestia based products onto their Fairs software. In addition to this, a deep link into the Selestia IFA Extranet is also available, providing the latest information and offering a wide range of useful portfolio tools.
In developing this project Gary Sawyer, Managing Director of WMS Fairs said: "I believe this level of integration will provide the IFA with a straight forward method of ensuring that their clients portfolios are always up to date. Automation will remove the potential for manual errors and help to ensure data integrity. The IFA can be 100% confident that what they tell their client is based on the latest available information from Selestia's own systems."
WMS Fairs believes that such a comprehensive level of integration between fund provider and back office software is guaranteed to be beneficial to any organisation that utilises Selestia products. The integration of the product also provides a comprehensive link into the Selestia system and furthermore, there are plans to extend the offering with additional features scheduled for release later in the year.
Gary Sawyer continued: "When developing software links and systems integration WMS Fairs avoids the temptation to jump in feet first and launch something as a result of industry buzz and hype. We discuss requirements with our clients before we start programming. In this way we ensure that our release offers the necessary functionality and benefits for our clients."
"For example our Selestia integration is believed to be unique in the way it deals with exceptions that may be raised by data exchanges. Usual exceptions include minor discrepancies in data between the IFA and fund supermarket. For example the IFA may have used the Selestia Extranet to submit a new business application for a client that has not yet been added to the Fairs IFA Manager software. Using a high level of referential integrity this situation is resolved by automatically adding the client to the system using EDI. This uses an algorithm that WMS Fairs is the first to develop."
"This Selestia link demonstrates our pedigree and rather than merely scratching the surface, is a totally comprehensive solution. Selestia has been very happy with the working relationship that has developed throughout this project and is looking forward to working closely with WMS Fairs on future developments"
Commenting on this exciting development, Owain Kember, Selestia's IFA Marketing Manager said: "The ability to download unit positions from the Selestia platform into the Fairs back office system is an important development and forms a core part of Selestia's strategy of forging close working relationships with the Providers of Back Office Software to provide services and functionality which will truly add value to an Adviser's day-to-day business and deliver time and cost efficiencies."
