Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) announced today that France's top mutual insurance company, Mutuelle Générale de l'Education Nationale (MGEN), has chosen CSC’s GraphTalk A.I.A. software solution to improve its specialised services in the health, protection and mortgage insurance markets.

MGEN, which will use GraphTalk A.I.A. as part of a strategic overhaul of its information technology (IT) environment to consolidate and standardise its administration systems, selected the system after a rigorous evaluation of the software solutions available on the market.

Under the two-year agreement, MGEN will consolidate the administration of a portfolio covering more than three million insured people onto the GraphTalk A.I.A. platform. The new consolidated system will be deployed in MGEN's administration and call centres, as well as throughout its 101 branch offices.
MGEN intends to make the most out of the functionalities available in GraphTalk A.I.A. to optimise its service delivery and adapt more easily to the requirements of its evolving economic and regulatory environment.

"CSC's expertise in developing software solutions for the industry and the company's strong commitment to engage with us has reinforced our decision to opt for CSC's solution," said Gonzague Guérin, information systems director at MGEN. "GraphTalk A.I.A. will enable MGEN to target two objectives: significantly increase the quality of our service and improve our relationship with our members. The system will also enable us to be more flexible and launch new insurance products more rapidly, especially in the area of personal assistance where customers have more specific and diversified service requirements."

"We are delighted to welcome the largest mutual company in France as a new member of our GraphTalk A.I.A. customer base," said Jean-Charles Miginiac, managing director of CSC's Financial Services Group in France. "Being selected by a company such as MGEN underscores our ability to deliver the business results our clients need and respond to the challenging requirements facing the mutual market today."
