ADP's STM service, a component of its Swift Service Bureau, acts as a central exchange for integrating Swift messages into the specific message types and business processes of the counterparty and, if requested, automatically updates them with data from other systems before they are dispatched.

It supports the intelligent management of Swift-based messages, so that business processes with counterparties, brokers, custodians, IFA's and other parties to the transaction can be handled efficiently, securely, and on a straight-through basis. Its range of capabilities far exceeds the mere conversion of messages to the Swift standard.

The new user interface is now entirely Java-based which gives greater flexibility in the way that it can be used and can be more readily adapted to customer-specific requirements.
