At this year's Finexpo City Technology Conference, Vivake Gupta, Co-founder and Managing Director at Lab49, and Matt Davey, Director of Technology, will be co-presenting the advances in the Microsoft .Net Framework 3.0 and their applicability to financial services and trading systems.
In particular, they will discuss the new Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) application which is reinvigorating software developers and aims to bring visualisation techniques to the forefront of every desktop.
Key points of their talk will include:

- Illustration of the different uses and benefits of WPF for those working in the Financial Services industry, such as enabling traders to handle larger data volumes and increasingly complex financial products to garner competitive advantage
- Look at the requirements for future applications of WPF that will facilitate the wider adoption of this software
