Orange Business Services, leader in trading solutions of international and unified communications solutions dedicated to the trading community, today announced that it is expanding its Asia Pacific network capabilities by launching its Shanghai Point of Presence (PoP).

The new PoP will allow its customers to connect to China through its network from anywhere in the world.

With the Shanghai PoP announcement closely following the Hong Kong upgrade, Orange Business Services is clearly demonstrating its commitment to clients and investment in Asia Pacific.

Trading companies now can connect simply and efficiently to Chinese business partners thanks to faster access, premium management, and enhanced security and customer service.

"The new Orange Trading Network PoP gives Shanghai customers access to digital sound that provides excellent quality of voice. Greater reliability is the second key feature, thanks to an efficient combination of cutting edge technology and redundant core network. Business partners from all over the world will also benefit from significant improvements such as short provisioning delays and high quality end-to-end service," says David Guérineau, Singapore-based Operations and Professional Services Asia Pacific Director.

The facility has the capacity to address both analogue and digital voice circuits, and can support data services up to 45 megabits.

Orange Business Services is dedicated to working closely with its clients in Asia, and is keen to ensure that its growth and development in the region are in step with customers' requirements and expectations for the future. It is looking to add further sites across the region. "We currently have Points of Presence in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo and Taipei, and are actively working on further additions to that network," Guérineau concludes.
