IDS names Peerson VP software development; LoVetri chief marketing officer

Integrated Decision Systems (IDS) announced today the appointment of Randy Peerson as Vice President of Software Development. Peerson will be leading development activities across the company's expanding suite of portfolio management products.

"IDS is growing rapidly and Randy's experience and accomplishments make him the perfect choice for this leadership role," said Don Totter, CEO of IDS. "Randy will direct the continuing evolution of our highly scalable, robust and encyclopedic GIM(tm) and CALiPER(tm) products. He will also oversee the expansion of our product line, including Web Services support across our comprehensive solutions for asset managers and brokers/sponsors."

Randy Peerson has 15 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering applications. He came to IDS from Responsys, where he oversaw development of a suite of web-based email marketing solutions for Global 2000 companies. Prior to that, Randy held senior engineering positions at Sagent Technology, Intuit, Sun Microsystems, and Andersen Consulting. Randy holds a B.A. in Economics/Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an M.S. in Management Information Systems and M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.

Separately, Integrated Decision Systems (IDS) announced today the appointment of Ron LoVetri as Chief Marketing Officer. LoVetri will direct all IDS marketing activities. His role includes coordinating IDS product strategy, pricing, product management, research, marketing communications and business development.

LoVetri has extensive experience in the financial services industry and has a wealth of knowledge of the asset management marketplace. He previously worked at Charles Schwab as a Vice President in both the Institutional and International divisions, where he led their efforts in the portfolio management and reporting systems areas. Prior to Charles Schwab, LoVetri was a Director of Marketing at Autodesk. He has a BS and MS in Engineering from Lehigh University. LoVetri is also President of Gilead House, a non-profit organization serving homeless mothers and children.
