Experian, the global information solutions company, today launched Intact World, its new online global address cleaning and standardisation service.

Intact World is capable of supporting organisations in 232 countries around the world.

Organisations can securely submit data over the Internet to Intact World at any time of day and receive a free data audit identifying the extent of their address data's accuracy. After reviewing the information in the data audit, users then simply download their cleaned address data.

Intact World automatically:

  • Verifies and corrects postal addresses
  • Appends missing address information, such as house numbers or post codes
  • Standardises addresses according to local country formats in the 232 countries
  • Provides a status code for each output record indicating the address validation/correction level achieved and perceived likelihood of the record being delivered

Phil Singh, Commercial Director for Experian Intact, comments: "Intact World extends Experian's global data integrity capabilities even further. Clients can now quickly and cost-effectively clean and standardise address data from up to 232 countries in a single file to reduce the financial and brand-image risks facing businesses by incorrectly addressed direct mail.

"Take a multi-national business, for example. It is crucial to get the direct mail basics right to make the right impression in every country and it all starts with using the right address format.

"This latest addition to our product portfolio ensures that our clients, wherever they are operating in the world, now have access to fast and effective data quality tools to enhance the return from their direct marketing investment."
