Wincor Nixdorf, one of the world's leading suppliers of IT solutions for the banking and retail industries, today announced that it will be deploying its first 30 ATMs to three of the local banks in the Kingdom of Cambodia – ACLEDA, Union Commercial Bank Plc (UCB) and Vattanac Banks.
The deployment marks Wincor Nixdorf's entry into Cambodia's banking industry and the first ATMs to be installed by the three banks.
"Cambodia is embracing a new era of banking, where increasingly, banks are recognising the need to modernise their facilities and bring banking networks up to speed," said Lim Khoon Hong, President Asia Pacific at Wincor Nixdorf. "We are pleased that Wincor Nixdorf has been selected as the preferred vendor by ACLEDA, UCB and Vattanac to kick-start their self-service banking. As we do more than just supply ATMs, we look forward to setting the banking standards for the country."
To date this fiscal year, Wincor Nixdorf has achieved an increase in growth of approximately 20% in Region Asia/Africa.
