Eagle Investment Systems Corp. today announced the availability of Eagle Version 6.0, the latest release of its integrated suite of solutions that significantly automate the investment management processes of organizations looking to improve business efficiencies. This latest release offers several new and enhanced features that facilitate increased flexibility, automation, ease of use, and time-savings benefits to users.

Included in the Web-based suite are Eagle PACE(TM), a data hub and portfolio management solution; Eagle Performance, an investment performance measurement solution; Eagle Reference Manager, a security reference data workflow and consolidation solution; and Eagle STAR®, a high volume investment accounting system. The integrated product suite facilitates numerous reporting improvements, offers more flexibility in retrieving data, and provides simplified installation and ease of use, particularly for clients that use multiple Eagle solutions.

Eagle PACE Highlights
In addition to Eagle Performance and Eagle Reference Manager, the Eagle PACE suite consists of a series of modules supporting a core data hub/warehouse, including Client Reporting and Portal. Eagle Version 6.0 offers enhancements in the areas of usability, workflow, and navigation across all components of the system. A new data maintenance component was added to Eagle PACE, making it easier for users to access and control data quality within the system. The client reporting production and workflow module has been enhanced to streamline the statement production process. Additionally the Eagle Portal information delivery vehicle was further developed to provide additional information to end-users and to allow for easier management of the system.
Eagle Performance Highlights
The Eagle Performance Suite consists of portfolio performance, AIMR/GIPS composite management, performance attribution, and mutual fund performance. Based on client direction, various performance enhancements were added to support the increasing complexity of our clients' analysis requirements. Additional internal rate of return calculation options were included to support our clients' growing commitment to alternative assets. To appropriately quantify specialized mandates, custom benchmark capabilities were enhanced to support hedged, constrained, and exclusionary benchmarks. Additional currency algorithms were added to Eagle's multicurrency attribution solution to support additional performance methodologies.
Eagle Reference Manager Highlights
Eagle Version 6.0 features significant improvements to Eagle Reference Manager, which help decrease the time it takes to implement the solution, improve workflow processes, and allow users to better monitor their reference data. Additionally, Eagle Version 6.0 includes an extended data model, which supports the Securities and Exchange Commission's anti-money laundering requirements. Eagle has developed an intuitive tool with a series of workflows to assist organizations in the set up and capture of client and entity reference data for retail and institutional customers.
Eagle STAR Highlights
Extensive new functionality has been added to the latest version of the Eagle STAR investment management accounting product. A DHTML user interface was introduced. The investment coverage within Eagle STAR was expanded to include mortgage options, as well as introducing new corporate actions such as "payment in kind" (PIK) processing. Enhancements to global processing include introduction of corporate action announcement processing based on "sweep date," futures with variation margin, and support of both retrospective and prospective amortization rules changes. With regard to transaction processing, a number of additions were incorporated, including the ability to track cash balance amounts between principle and income within a portfolio as well as transfer balances between them. In support of auditing and reporting requirements, a ledger to sub-ledger reconciliation option was added to offer users more back-office control. Introduced in Eagle Version 5.5, Eagle STAR to PACE Direct was developed to significantly improve data transfer speeds when loading information from Eagle STAR to Eagle PACE. In 6.0, this interface was enhanced to include cash activity and performance measurement data.
