Verifone receives TSYS Class A certification for Vx 570 and 510 systems

VeriFone Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: PAY) today announced that TSYS Acquiring Solutions has designated the VeriFone Vx 570 and the Vx 510 payment solutions as Class A approved.

TSYS Acquiring Solutions, a subsidiary of TSYS (NYSE: TSS) (formerly Vital Processing Services), provides a wide range of payment processing services, including credit, debit, POS check and gift card, for many of the nation's top acquiring banks and ISOs.

The Class A approval from TSYS Acquiring Solutions signifies that a payment system has successfully passed established testing requirements and is fully supported. Acquirers and their merchant customers can receive direct support services from TSYS Acquiring Solutions when running the VeriFone SoftPay payment application on designated VeriFone systems, which now include the Vx 510 (also sold under the Omni 3730 brand), the Vx 570, and earlier approved systems, the VeriFone Vx 510LE (also sold under the Omni 3730LE brand), and the VeriFone Omni 3740 and Omni 3750 models.

TSYS Acquiring Solutions works with merchant acquirers to deliver comprehensive solutions and support to process billions of credit and debit transactions every year. TSYS Acquiring Solutions clients will now be able to support a broad range of VeriFone high-speed dial and Internet Protocol-based payment solutions, including contactless payment options.
