Cardholder account data security is regarded as one of the biggest issues facing the payment card industry.

Created by Visa and MasterCard, PCI DSS is a set of industry-wide requirements and processes that ensure the security of valuable cardholder account data.
The standard is supported by all international payments card systems. It is intended for any organisation that stores, transmits or processes cardholder account and transaction data – merchants, acquiring banks and related service providers.

One-Sec Ltd, an official Visa Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) in assessing onsite compliance to PCI Standards, carried out the certification process. The certification indicates that FEXCO has been assessed against the objectives of the Visa AIS and MasterCard SDP programs, utilising the PCI DSS validation methods and was found to be compliant to PCI DSS.

Managing Director of FEXCO Dynamic Currency Conversion Ltd, Dermot O'Shea, commented, "We are delighted to have received this important payment card industry accreditation. As FEXCO deploys its Dynamic Currency Conversion solutions internationally, it is vital that we are accredited by the Visa AIS and MasterCard SDP programs to ensure a high level of confidence for our ever-growing customer base."
