Tokyo and Shenzhen stock exchanges sign MoU

Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) and Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) as of August 7th, 2006 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) upon commencing feasibility studies of business alliances between two Exchanges.

Both Exchanges have already signed the comprehensive MOU on January 15th, 2003 for exchanging information. Upon the agreement, the two Exchanges have conducted regular communications through regular meetings and staff exchange programs. In addition to these communications, both Exchanges reach an agreement to discuss potential cooperation and information exchange in the area of new products and Information Technologies, which will be beneficial to developing both markets.
