Hang Seng Bank (‘Hang Seng’) has launched an industry-first payment experience, “JustPay”, featuring an innovative voice recording function.
    
    
	The platform includes the “Sweet Pay” feature, enhancing cross-bank transfer experience with animations and text messages for instant and interactive money transfer experience.
Built on the robust “Faster Payment System (FPS)”, JustPay provides customers with the convenience of instantly transferring money to friends and family. The Hang Seng Mobile App now provides direct access to JustPay, ensuring secure and convenient transfers across banks and wallets.
As digital payments gain popularity for activities like bill splitting, sending household expenses and pocket money, online transactions have become essential in customers’ everyday lives. Recent data from Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited shows over 17 million FPS personal service registrations across Hong Kong by the end of September this year, a 12.5% increase since January. The average monthly instant transfers have risen from approximately 60 million last year to over 70 million in the first nine months of this year, highlighting the widespread use of digital payments.

JustPay is seamlessly integrated into the Hang Seng Mobile App, enabling customers to make direct payments from their existing Hang Seng HKD bank accounts. This service eliminates the need for additional applications or manually top-up to complete transfers. JustPay goes “Beyond Payments to Boundless Connections”.

1. Simple Steps for Direct “Pay”
Upon accessing the Hang Seng Mobile App, users simply tap the JustPay icon and swipe up. They can then select a payee from "Favourites" to complete the transfer instantly.
2. “Sweet Pay” Feature with Tailored Recording Messages
The innovative “Sweet Pay” feature in JustPay enables users to create heartfelt voice recordings and send creative animated greetings to recipients. Transfers can be made instantly across banks using “Pay” or “Scan to pay”.
3. Thoughtful Everyday Functions
The built in “Split bill” function simplifies group payments. Users can input the total amount, choose the number of contributors, and split the bill instantly. Additionally, they can generate a QR code with themed designs and customised messages, facilitating payment through sharing the unique QR code.
