Money Wellness has announced a new partnership with Capital One UK to provide customers with the tools and guidance they need to help them manage their finances more effectively and improve their financial well-being.
The partnership will allow Capital One’s UK customers who show early signs of financial stress to access free Money Wellness support, including confidential debt advice, income maximisation help, and practical budgeting tools.
Customers will be signposted to a free Money Wellness financial health check to help them understand their current money situation and the support available to improve it. The service can help identify whether customers are eligible for debt solutions, struggling to manage household bills, or missing out on benefits or other income support.
Capital One UK colleagues will be able to connect customers directly with Money Wellness, by either transferring their call or scheduling an appointment.
The partnership builds on Capital One UK’s long-standing commitment to helping people succeed with credit. Known for tools such as QuickCheck and its free credit score checker, CreditWise, Capital One continues to drive positive change in the finance industry.
This new partnership follows similar agreements between Money Wellness and other major financial institutions. These collaborations form part of a growing effort to proactively support financially vulnerable customers by connecting them to free, trusted help before their situation worsens.
Sebrina McCullough, director of external relations at Money Wellness, said: “Far too many people are silently struggling with money problems. That’s why we’re excited to work with Capital One UK - an organisation that shares our belief in early, proactive support. Together, we can reach more people and help them move towards financial stability and control.”
John Birkbeck, Head of Operations at Capital One UK, said: "We're delighted to be partnering with Money Wellness. It allows us to direct customers to the early guidance they need to achieve their financial goals. This collaboration builds trust, strengthens customer relationships and promotes long term-financial well-being."
Commissioned by the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), Money Wellness is one of the UK’s leading financial wellness providers, supporting more than one million people with debt advice, benefit help, and budgeting support.
