The integration enables the Bank to route payments directly to beneficiary bank accounts through local low-value payment systems such as domestic ACH and instant payment rails. The service currently supports multiple currencies, with plans to expand further in the near future.

The expansion complements Standard Chartered’s broader cross-border Instant Payments future product roadmap.

By leveraging Visa Direct’s extensive network, Standard Chartered continues to strengthen its SC PrismFX and low-value global disbursements proposition, providing clients with fast, reliable and predictable cross-border payment solutions across markets.
