Together, the two companies will help carriers eliminate back-office friction and accelerate key functions such as correspondence generation through intelligent automation.

Solvrays will integrate its DocuGene correspondence accelerator—powered by its AI orchestration engine, PulseGene—directly into Penn River’s core administrative platform. The result: seamless, end-to-end automation that unites data, workflows, and documents across the life-and-annuity value chain.

“Many carriers today still struggle with manual, brittle correspondence systems that don’t scale and create delay and error,” said Bobbie Shrivastav, CEO of Solvrays. “By combining PulseGene’s AI-driven orchestration logic with DocuGene’s document automation and embedding that capability into Penn River’s policy administration backbone, we can tackle one of the most persistent pain points in life and annuities operations. Our joint mission is to make back-office work as frictionless as possible—so insurers can reallocate resources to product innovation, customer experience, and growth.

This collaboration is part of our broader initiative to integrate Solvrays’ orchestration engine with leading policy admin systems, enabling carriers to adopt agentic AI workflows without disrupting their existing ecosystems.”

Penn River’s modern, configurable administration system supports the full life cycle of life and annuity products, offering carriers a flexible, low-code environment to accelerate product launches and reduce total cost of ownership.

“Solvrays brings the missing orchestration and correspondence layer that enables carriers to move more quickly, accurately, and scalably,” said David Shaw, CEO of Penn River. “Our platform already provides insurers the agility to launch complex life and annuity products with efficiency. Embedding DocuGene and PulseGene into our workflow stack means our clients can now generate policyholder correspondence dynamically and reliably, with minimal manual intervention. In short, we’re eliminating back-office friction at scale.”

Key Benefits of the Partnership

Dynamic correspondence automation — letters, statements, and disclosures generated in real time based on policy events and product rules
AI-powered orchestration — built-in routing, compliance checks, and approvals through Solvrays PulseGene
Seamless integration — native within PennRiver’s policy administration workflows
Reduced operational risk — standardized templates and version control lower manual errors
Accelerated adaptability — rapid updates to regulatory or product changes without coding bottlenecks
Together, Solvrays and Penn River empower life and annuity carriers to modernize their back-office operations, bridge the gap between policy administration and customer communications, and drive measurable gains in efficiency, compliance, and speed to market.
