The activity of Sella Direct Ventures, aimed at promoting and supporting innovation, is structured into two synergistic areas: direct investments, focusing on acquiring stakes in early-stage European companies active in the fintech sector and emerging technologies related to innovation and financial inclusion, and fund investments, targeting both vertical and generalist operators, with particular attention to early-stage funds and a geographic focus on Europe and North America. Sella Direct Ventures relies on a team of professionals with solid experience in the world of venture capital and innovation, both in Italy and internationally.

Sella Direct Ventures acts as an investor in the initial development of startups, mainly in the Seed and Series A stages, with average amounts ranging from 250,000 to 500,000 euros, also providing strategic support to the various needs of companies. Sella Direct Ventures can rely on the long history of innovation of the Sella Group and its more than twenty years of experience in venture, which has enabled the creation of a portfolio of over 100 investments in funds and startups.

“With Sella Direct Ventures we strengthen our commitment to innovation, investing in entrepreneurial realities and specialized partners who share our vision. The creation of this new area represents a further step in our commitment to support the development of an open, modern and forward-looking financial ecosystem,” said Giacomo Sella, Head of Sella Investment Banking.

Continuity and innovation in the Sella ecosystem
The launch of Sella Direct Ventures is part of the Group's broader open innovation strategy, aimed at fostering an innovative and collaborative financial ecosystem. Thanks to integration with the services of Sella Investment Banking, the fund of funds activity of Sella Venture Partners – the asset management company of the Sella Group for alternative investments in venture capital reserved for professional clients –, the Fabrick technology platform and the Fintech District community, Sella Direct Ventures can benefit from unique synergies to support innovation and the development of new entrepreneurial projects.

With Sella Direct Ventures, the Sella Group further strengthens its role as a strategic partner for entrepreneurs and institutional investors, confirming the centrality of innovation in its long-term vision.
