Mercury Payment Systems, an integrated payment processing company, today released its customized online portal to more than 1,000 point-of-sale (POS) reseller partners.
Using protected login user identification and passwords, dealers get fast and secure access to proprietary business intelligence and marketing tools.
"With detailed account information, business data, and a full suite of downloadable marketing collateral at their fingertips, Mercury's POS reseller partners can plan new business strategies and begin implementing them immediately," said Matt Taylor, senior vice president of sales at Mercury. "Dealers can benchmark merchant account activity and customize sales and service initiatives. It's a huge advantage in helping them advance their businesses."
Various combinations of Mercury's credit, debit, gift, EBT, check and loyalty processing platforms are integrated to more than 120 POS systems in use at restaurants, retail stores and groceries nationwide and in Canada. The Mercury payment application enables Internet protocol (IP) processing in two to three seconds.
Mercury launched the portal to 10,000 processing merchants last month, giving them protected access to such business management tools as real-time batch information, transaction history, live online customer and technical support service, and Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard updates.
Software programmers at Mercury developed the portal to power access to data that applies specifically to each dealer and merchant partner.
"Knowledge is power," Taylor said. "The portal not only makes new data instantly available to our business partners, but also provides links to useful industry as well as Mercury-specific resources."
