LexisNexis U.S., a leading provider of information and services solutions, and EDGAR Online, Inc. (NASDAQ:EDGR), today announced an expanded alliance.

LexisNexis customers will now have access to all EDGAR form types, including Investment Company Act filings and insider trading forms.

LexisNexis customers will also benefit from improved functionality, including intra-document linking and cross-linking to find related documents; alternative formatting options for downloading tables; and more timely information. These features and additional forms will also be available to LexisNexis Academic subscribers once the new LexisNexis Academic service, which is mirroring the new Nexis service, is launched in 2007.

"We've expanded our alliance with EDGAR Online to meet a market demand. Comprehensive and easy-to-access SEC filings are critical to help customers make informed business decisions," said Dawn Conway, vice president of Content and Business Development for the Corporate and Federal Markets of LexisNexis. "It's also convenient for our customers to view this information with other types of trusted business, news or legal sources through LexisNexis."

Susan Strausberg, CEO and President of EDGAR Online, Inc., said, "By expanding our alliance with an information solutions leader like LexisNexis, we can help more customers find the answers they need." Strausberg added, "We have a common goal to help customers better understand the financial condition of public companies through more efficient, quicker access to information in formats they want."
