With the acquisition of Finanzportal24, Etops strengthens its position in the market for digital wealth advisory and will offer financial service providers — including independent financial advisors, intermediaries, as well as banks and insurance companies — an even broader range of integrated client advisory solutions.
Finanzportal24 is a leading provider of financial planning software in Germany. The company was founded in 2002 by Hubertus Schmidt and is headquartered in Burbach. Finanzportal24’s software solutions are used by more than 4,500 users in Germany and are known for their user-friendliness, technical depth, and practical functionality.
“We are very pleased to welcome Finanzportal24, a company with deep expertise in financial planning, into our group,” says Pius Stucki, Group CEO of Etops. “This acquisition enables us to strategically expand our offering and provide our clients with a seamless, digital value chain – from financial planning to portfolio management to reporting.”
Finanzportal24 will continue to operate independently on the market with its existing team and locations in Burbach and Marburg. At the same time, the company will benefit from the market access, infrastructure, and network of Etops.
“We see Etops as the ideal partner to continue our growth strategy and make our solutions accessible to an even broader target audience,” adds Hubertus Schmidt, founder of Finanzportal24. “Our shared vision is to actively shape the digital transformation of financial advisory.”
With this merger, Etops reaffirms its ambition to establish itself as a leading WealthTech platform in Europe – modular, scalable, and fully aligned with the needs of modern financial intermediaries. At the same time, the Group continues to consistently implement its buy-and-build strategy backed by private equity firm Pollen Street Capital.
