Commerce Bank enhances Web cash manager

TreasuryDirect now enables users to view and manage wires and electronic transaction activity in real-time. The up-to-the-minute account data gives customers more power over their cash position. Inbound fund confirmations, account transfers and disbursements are instantaneous with a click.

Additionally, TreasuryDirect now offers a new payee positive pay feature, which enhances an organization's ability to avert losses due to check fraud. Payee positive pay electronically compares issued check data - including check number, payment amount and payee name - with items that have been presented but not yet paid. By identifying discrepancies, the service prevents unauthorized items from clearing. Conventional positive pay compares check number and amount only.
