The new app brings a bold new focus on customization, seamless functionality, and a visually refreshed design. With these updates, Lunar empowers users to create a banking experience tailored to their unique financial goals and preferences, reinforcing the position as a Nordic leader in user-centric banking innovation.

Unlike traditional banking apps, Lunar’s app is built to adapt to individual needs, oering modular widgets and tools, like the Lunar AI Assistant, that make banking smarter and more personal. These innovations ensure that Lunar continues to set the standard for intuitive, hyper-personalized digital banking.

Key features of the update include:

Customizable Home screen: Users can now tailor their interface by pinning accounts and adding data-rich widgets. These tools provide instant access to the financial information most relevant to each user, from monitoring savings to tracking investments.
Streamlined Wallet section: A new Wallet that unifies accounts, cards, goals, and SAS EuroBonus points into one intuitive view, featuring drag-and-drop transfer functionality for seamless money management.
Personalized Account design: Users can customize account appearances with wallpapers and soon prompt Lunar AI Assistant for unique designs or upload their own images.
Insights for businesses: The new design of the insight area aligns the experience between consumer and business, giving business users rich spending, incoming, and cashflow insights for the first time.
Sleek new Design: Lunar’s updated aesthetic features a refined color palette, dynamic 3D assets, and enhanced typography and iconography.

Enhanced functionality and personalized design

The update brings new customization tools and a redesigned interface, making it easier for users to personalize their financial experience. The simplified layout ensures that key features are easy to find and use, making it more ecient and intuitive for users to interact with their finances.

Currently, the Lunar AI Assistant provides tailored financial insights to help users make smarter financial decisions. Soon, users will also be able to collaborate with the AI Assistant to prompt their own unique designs for accounts, adding even more hyper-personalization options.

“Early usage trends are already showing positive signs. We’ve seen a 12% uplift in the average revenue per user (ARPU) for new users within their first 30 days. Additionally, connected accounts from other banks have risen by 26%, and adoption of SAS EuroBonus has grown by 18%. While these early results are promising, we’re focused on continuing to refine our approach and look forward to seeing how these trends evolve over time”, concludes Christina Vestergaard.

The new app version is available for everyone and can be downloaded from preferred app stores, Google Play Store, or Apple App Store.
