The new platform introduces innovative products aimed at simplifying online transactions for businesses and consumers alike, while also enhancing the customer experience.

TAMİ’s main products include multi-bank POS (point of sale) systems and prepaid cards, both designed to address the growing needs of Türkiye’s e-commerce and digital payment sectors. The multi-bank POS system allows businesses to streamline payment processing by enabling a single POS terminal to handle transactions from multiple banks. This is particularly useful for businesses in e-commerce, as it enables them to offer customers the ability to pay in installments through different banks.

Meanwhile, TAMİ’s prepaid cards are intended for a broader demographic, including individuals who are outside the traditional banking system, such as housewives, students and young people who do not have a credit card but still want to shop online. The prepaid cards can be easily topped up through any bank account and can then be used instantly for online purchases.

TAMİ’s launch was announced at a press event hosted by Ceren Acer Kezik, Garanti BBVA’s Executive Vice President, and Melda Çetin, CEO of TAMİ. Kezik explained how Garanti BBVA has always focused on meeting customer needs and expectations, especially in the rapidly changing world of payment technologies. As e-commerce and card-based systems continue to flourish, businesses and consumers alike are demanding new, more flexible payment solutions. The TAMİ platform was created to meet these demands, offering a streamlined, user-friendly experience.

“Our goal with TAMİ is to offer exactly what our customers need. We’ve built a comprehensive, easy-to-use infrastructure that offers innovative, fast and simple payment technologies to support e-commerce businesses and their customers. We firmly believe that TAMİ will play a key role in shaping the future of payments in Türkiye,” Garanti BBVA’s Kezik said.

Melda Çetin added that the main aim of TAMİ is to offer fast, secure and seamless payment solutions for a broad range of customers, from small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) to larger e-commerce platforms. TAMİ is there to help businesses of all sizes, as well as individual sellers on social media platforms, accept payments securely, track their transactions and use features such as installment options and special promotions from various banks.
