Soliton Inc., a leading provider of reference data management solutions, today announced the extension of its TimeSquare acquisition workflow for FT Interactive Data’s products. This development adds the leading global securities pricing feeds in the UK and Europe to Soliton’s already comprehensive library of workflows.
Soliton continues to add to its comprehensive library of acquisition workflows for the major commercial data vendors. The term 'acquisition workflow' refers to the end-to-end process of loading, mapping, checking and distributing reference market data. Soliton’s library includes acquisition workflows for market data feeds from FT Interactive Data, Reuters, Bloomberg, Telekurs, Standard & Poor’s and more. With these ready-to-use TimeSquare workflows, customers are able to quickly integrate new feeds into their existing applications.
"FT Interactive Data’s products are used extensively in Europe to support fund pricing, securities operations, research and portfolio management," observed Carole Mahoney, Director of UK Sales for Soliton. "The release of this new data acquisition loader not only enriches the most comprehensive reference data management solution available today, but also emphasizes our commitment to the European marketplace. Most significantly, it gives our customers the ability to integrate FT Interactive Data’s content into a new or existing reference database and be operational in less than three weeks."
Soliton’s TimeSquare is used by financial institutions to automate the processes surrounding the integration and management of reference data. Unlike other reference data solutions, TimeSquare processes each data source independently. Data feeds, such as FT Interactive Data’s, are validated, transformed, and mapped to a source-specific data model. By populating a vendor data model first, data sources can be added or removed with minimal cost and implementation time. This unique approach ensures that a single, sustainable security master can be developed and maintained.
The Soliton TimeSquare acquisition workflows for FT Interactive Data’s products are available now.
