FinMont, a global payment orchestration platform, today announced a strategic partnership with iPay, a leading African payment processing and billing service provider.
This collaboration aims to enhance FinMont’s payment ecosystem by integrating iPay’s innovative payment services, offering more flexibility and improved processing capabilities for FinMont's global network of travel industry merchants.
The founders of German airline, Hahn Air, launched FinMont to offer the travel industry a unique solution that, unlike other options available, streamlines not only B2C payments but also B2B payments. Combining both payments into a single view will help decision-makers identify and fix inefficiencies in their current payment processes.
iPay is an award-winning, reliable, and secure real-time end-to-end payment processing and billing service provider, that supports instant payments both online and in-store. Established in 2010 and based in Kenya it also operates in Uganda, Tanzania, and Togo and is currently executing a Pan African expansion. The firm offers customised payment solutions for all businesses to accept digital payments both online, and in-store, as well as f pay-on-delivery services.
With this new partnership, FinMont will integrate iPay’s real-time end-to-end payment processing and billing solutions into its global payment ecosystem. This move will provide FinMont’s African travel merchants with more diverse payment processing options, ensuring they can manage a broader customer base while reducing billing complexities.
Suby Valluri, CEO of FinMont commented on the partnership, saying, "We are excited to join forces with iPay and offer our merchants even more flexibility in payment processing. By integrating this award-winning solution, we can help travel merchants reach more customers, reduce friction in payment processes, and help grow their businesses.”
Philip Nyamwaya, Director at iPay, added, "Our partnership with FinMont enables us to bring our innovative payment processing and billing solutions to a wider range of travel merchants throughout Africa. By working together, we aim to streamline and enhance the billing process, giving businesses additional support with payments."
