Ignite is an exclusive incubator programme designed to support founders in transforming disruptive fintech ideas into reality with financial support, expert guidance, and extensive industry networking.

From a pool of 60 applicants, 20 were carefully screened, with 7 advancing to interviews. After an extensive evaluation process, 4 finalists were invited for follow-up discussions.
This programme’s successful applicant is Money Squirrel; an innovative open banking platform designed to help businesses manage cashflow and make money work for them.

Kyle Masterson, Head of SHIFT and Co-founder of Ignite, says: "This programme was created to support bold entrepreneurs. Andreea’s vision for Money Squirrel exemplifies this, as she seeks to empower business owners across the UK. We are confident in her and look forward to accelerating her journey”

Through the Ignite programme, Money Squirrel will receive:
* Tailored support from the SHIFT and Woodhurst teams, including a cash injection, co-working space, and access to a vast network within the financial services sector.
* Google Cloud resources, including credits, learning tools, and guidance from a dedicated Startup Success Manager.
* Mentorship from industry experts such as Oliver Parsons (Head of Innovation at Lloyds), James Varga (ex-founder of DirectID), and Johnnie Martin (Investor at Augmentum Fintech).

Andreea Daly, Founder of Money Squirrel notes: "Ignite stood out for its focused support, dedicated to one startup at a time, and the unparalleled network access through SHIFT and Woodhurst.”
