The new solution offers both the corporate and public sector customers a modern and user-friendly application catering for all relevant payment needs. Besides cash management functionality the application offers comprehensive, user-friendly possibilities to access a wide range of payment services offered by the Dexia network: e.g. single payments, batch payments, recurring payments, circular cheques, multi country reporting and direct debits.

In the selection process standard functionalities, future consistency and quick delivery were important factors. In fast changing circumstances in Europe it was very important for Dexia to cooperate with an organization that can efficiently anticipate on these developments.

Hans Cobben, CEO of Trax, is delighted about the possibility to provide on Trax' home market a payment solution to Dexia. "The functionalities of Corporate PayStation solution were from the beginning almost completely in line with the expectations of Dexia. We have been demonstrated that with minimum adaptations, we will be able to deliver the product within the strict timelines."

Dirk Hoebeeck, CIO Dexia, emphasizes that Dexia, having chosen Trax, obtains a product that covers the current needs of the customers and moreover offers the possibility to rapidly anticipate on future developments. "We were searching for a modern application which could be implemented at short notice and which would give Dexia a distinctive capability. A strong requirement was that the specific needs would not be detrimental to the use of a standard product, by choosing Trax this was achieved."
