The amount credited will be 2% of the Euro amount withdrawn (minimum EUR2.5) and the offer will be available from 1 July - 30 September 2006. This amount will then be converted to £ Sterling using the exchange rate on the day the cashback is credited.

Sue Hayes, Director Product Marketing says, "We are really keen for our customers to experience the advantages of Abbey being a part of the Santander group. Not only are we able to offer a Santander mortgage to finance a second home in Spain, but now we'll also give cashback on the Euros our customers withdraw while they are on holiday in Spain".

Customers need to look out for any Banco Santander cash machine displaying the "flame" in order to be entitled to cashback. Cashback will be paid into customer's accounts within two weeks of a withdrawal and will appear on statements the following month as "Santander ATM cashback". All transactions will be subject to the usual terms and conditions.
