Reveleus' metadata-driven data warehouse and analytical applications will provide the Amex with a single view of trading information drawn from disparate databases and presented in common business terms. The data will be used to help the Exchange in its regulatory review process.

S. Ramakrishnan, CEO of Reveleus - a subsidiary of Indian wholesale banking systems firm i-flex - comments: "The ability to use pre-packaged and ad-hoc analysis, using commonly understood business terms, helps exchanges like the Amex monitor trends at an aggregated level and drill down to details, as needed, thereby reducing the complexity and cost of querying data from multiple sources."

Hewlett-Packard will manage the deployment of the Reveleus solution at the US exchange.
